Happy April!!!

Happy April!!!

Happy April everyone!!  March did go out like a lamb this year.  Yesterday (3/31) was beautiful, sunny with temps in the mid 60’s and very little to no wind.  Absolutely a gorgeous spring day!  We are hoping for a lovely spring with April showers bringing May flowers.  But it is Western Colorado and snow in the spring is not unheard of.  The nice thing about it though is that usually it snows a little one day and then melts immediately.  Great moisture for the grass and flowers starting to come up.

We also hope that April will bring back some sense of normalcy here in our country.  This corona virus pandemic has thrown things into somewhat of an uncertainty about the future.  In Western Colorado folks seem to be staying calm and civil.  From what I have seen when I have had to go out to the store, most people seem to be observing the social distancing and only buying what they need – not hording.  The stores I have been in still have fairly well stocked shelves and there’s even toilet paper available!  Montrose County still reflects 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19.  Delta County has only 1 case and we hear that person is recovered.  Mesa County is at 16 confirmed cases.  Ouray County is still showing no confirmed cases at all.  So all in all, we are cautiously optimistic here on the Western Slope.  (Fingers crossed and knocking on wood!!)

While the real estate market is slow at the moment, there are still things happening.  We just took a new listing in Ouray County.  Buyers are still inquiring about properties.  And we are still available to answer your questions.  Please feel free to call, text or email and we will help!!  Have a great April!
