2022 Mid Term Elections

It’s getting to be that time of year that we all think about getting out and voting.  The official Election Day is November 2, 2022.  In Colorado, we receive our ballots in the mail and they have already been sent out to the registered voters in the state.  We have the option to mail our ballots in, drop them in designated drop boxes or actually take them to vote in person on Election Day (check your district if this is what you prefer to do).  We also receive the “blue book” which talks about the issues on the ballot.  For those who aren’t interested in reading the entire blue book, the Colorado Association of Realtors has published this video which talks about the state wide issues and what is to be voted on.

Of course this is a “mid-term” election so there will be several seats in play.  Make sure you do your research on which candidates you want to vote for.  There are several resources available online that can give you impartial info about the various races and those running.  BallotPedia is one site which provides info on the candidates as well as issues.  Or just Google it – there’s a ton of sites to help you!  And just think after November 8th, those dang commercials will be gone!  Who else is tired of those???

There’s plenty more going on here on the Western Slope besides the election. Make sure you’re following me on my social media sites to see a bit of what to do.  And if you have something you’d like to share, let me know – I might just feature it for you!  You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn.  Have a great week everyone!
