07 Feb Cold Weather But Sunny Days…

It’s been chilly but sunny here on the Western Slope.  Our high temps last week were only in the 30’s with the lows in the single digits.  This week we are hoping for (and looking forward to) temps back up in the 40’s and even maybe 50 on Friday.  A regular heat wave in February!  Bright sunshine pervades every day so that helps even when it’s cooler.

This is the week before Valentine’s Day and we are seeing specials and things to do coming this week, weekend and culminating on the big day next Monday.  Also, this coming Sunday is the big daddy of all football games – The Super Bowl!  Exciting to see two underdogs in the big game this year.  Who are you rooting for?  There are lots of places around town that will be showing the game but make sure if you’re out and about to “ride share” or have a designated driver.  You don’t want to enjoy a night in the slammer for drinking and driving!  To check out some of the various things going on around the area for Valentine’s Day and the Super Bowl, make sure you follow our Facebook page.
