27 Sep Color Sunday in Colorado
Yesterday was Color Sunday here on the Western Slope and the beautiful fall colors did not disappoint. I took this photo in the Arrowhead (Cimarron) area just yesterday and the aspen trees are all turning glorious golden, orange and red fall colors. And Mesa Lakes Lodge up on the Grand Mesa had live music and family fun going on in celebration for all who wanted to enjoy. Of course the colors in the mountains are amazing but we are seeing the trees here in the valley turn as well. It’s such a great time of year here!
And the fall fun around the Western Slope is in full swing too. DeVries Fruits & Veggies starts the corn maze and pumpkin patch this Friday, October 1st.
Delta is having live music throughout October downtown in West Legacy Park.
Apple Fest is October 1-3 in Cedaredge with tons of music, food and fun all weekend.
The Colorado Pro Rodeo is going on this weekend in Montrose.
