17 Jul Dog Days of Summer

It’s HOT here on the Western Slope.  I just got a “weather warning” that there is a heat advisory for Western Colorado and temps will be in the 90’s to over 100 degrees today and most of this week.  So if you’re around the Western Slope, make sure you’re taking care of yourself, your kids and pets.  Don’t leave animals outside with no shade or water and make sure you and the kids are lathered up with sunscreen if you’ll be outside for any extended period of time.  Also, make sure to drink plenty of water!  Staying hydrated is key to assuring you stay healthy in the heat.

We did see a slight drop in mortgage interest rates last week.  Plus, there are still new listings coming on the market every day, so contact me if you’re looking to buy property here in Western Colorado.  If you’re willing to put in some elbow grease, you can find some good deals to be had.  Make sure you contact me for a list of local lenders who are familiar with the area and can get you an accurate pre-approval.  Then, you’ll know how much you can afford and we can head out looking for that perfect property.
