05 Aug Dog Days of Summer

Dog days of summer is right!  It’s hotter than normal here in Western Colorado and the fire danger is high.  We shared a few weeks ago about the fire ban.  Since then we have had a few fires and currently there is a large one near Grand Junction started by lightening.  The Pine Gulch Fire is over 3300 Acres and is only 5% contained.  We send good thoughts and prayers for the fire fighters and people close to there that the fire gets contained and everyone stays safe.

Meanwhile, there are things going on around the Western Slope!  Live entertainment at Food Truck Friday in Cobble Creek.

Saturday in Ouray is the Wright Summer Faire again.  Seems to be a hit – shop local!

Saturday evening in Olathe you can enjoy “Music and Beer.”
