🔥 Fires + Fair Season on the Western Slope
Our beautiful Western Slope is battling some heartbreaking wildfires. The South Rim Fire near Black Canyon has burned nearly 4,000 acres—park’s closed and crews are working nonstop. Fires near Gateway are growing too, with evacuations in place along Hwy 141. 💔 Stay safe and keep our firefighters in your prayers. Please pray for rain too – although the forecast isn’t too optimistic with rain possibilities. 😢

🎡 Fair Time! Already?!
The Montrose County Fair kicks off this Friday! Livestock shows for the young and adults alike, concerts, funnel cakes—yes please! 🎶🐴
Delta County Fair is just around the corner with CPRA rodeo and Lane Smith to start it off, and Ouray County Rodeo wraps it up on Labor Day with a parade that morning and the CPRA rodeo starting at noon. Dust off those boots—summer fun is rolling in!
