23 Oct Halloween Parties are this Weekend

Happy Monday everyone!  We are still enjoying this amazing Indian Summer we are having here on the Western Slope.  It’s going to be in the mid-70’s again today but we are supposed to see cooling the rest of the week.  It looks like 60’s in the valley with freezing temps in the mountains.  Of course, next week (just in time for Halloween) it will be quite chilly with highs only in the 30’s or 40’s.  That’s why, in Colorado, you make sure that the Halloween costumes can fit over a winter coat! LOL  The good news is that we aren’t seeing snow forecast for the valley, just the high country.  (fingers crossed!)

Mortgage rates went up  again and we expect more of the same for the rest of this year.  “They” are saying that it looks like spring of next year will be when the rates start to come down a bit more.  I am keeping an eye on it for you so if you have questions, give me a call.  However, I have been busy last week and will be again this week showing property to several different buyers.  So, if you’re thinking of buying OR selling property, do get in touch.  There are still great options for both available right now.

This coming weekend is the big party weekend for Halloween.  There are lots of options for kids of all ages!  Make sure to follow my Facebook and Instagram pages as I am putting the events that I know of on my social media sites.  If you go out and party this weekend, make sure you don’t drink and drive.

Did you know that Uber is now a “thing” here on the Western Slope??  Well, it’s been in Grand Junction for quite some time, but there are more and more drivers in the Montrose, Delta, Ridgway and Ouray areas as well.  If you absolutely HAVE to get where you’re going, the best bet is to schedule ahead on the Uber app.  It’s great to have this option here now!  So, go out and have a great week with a wonderful party weekend!
