Happy Birthday George Washington!

Well according to the list of Federal Holidays, it is called Washington’s Birthday – not President’s Day.  But either way -today is officially a holiday for the banks, post office and some businesses, but I am working away!  I have several folks I am helping to look for property to buy.  Inventory is still pretty low right now but we are starting to see a few new listings pop up each day.  If you are thinking of buying OR selling this year, make sure to check out my buyer and seller tips on my website.  I am always happy to visit with you about any questions you might have so don’t hesitate to get in touch with me!

So the weather here on the Western Slope has been quite mild the last week.  And the forecast is showing mild this week and next going into March.  Apparently March will come in like a lamb this year.  Which seems about right as usually, March is one of our big snow months.  While I am glad we haven’t had a rough winter like we did last year, the mountains sure need more snow.  The good news is that Colorado “stock piled” run off from last year, according to this article.

I am getting excited for spring to come this year!  Soon we will be seeing farmers burning off fields then plowing and tulips and daffodils will start popping up.  I love springtime on the Western Slope!  This warm weather is making me ready for it – even though I expect we will have more snow days to come.

I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy the sunshine!
