20 Mar Happy First Day of Spring!!

Of course the weather forecast says we will get rain and snow in the valleys all week with the mountains getting a foot of snow or more.  Welcome to springtime in the Rockies!!  That is ok, though, we need the moisture to pull us out of the drought that we have been having for several years.  We are seeing green spikes of grass peak up through some of the brown that winter brought and (of course) the weeds are greening up real quickly.  LOL  It will be amazing to watch the beauty of spring, the renewal and growth that will blanket the Western Slope very soon.  Farmers have started plowing fields already.  It’s a great time to be in Western Colorado!

The real estate market is still hopping even with interest rates on a slight upswing.  I still have buyers that I am working with and they are getting loans.  Let me know If you’d like a list of local lenders to contact.  There are some great ones with various options for you on your home loan.  Depending on the type of home you’re looking at, you might not need 20% down.  Or maybe you are just wanting a mobile home in a park or perhaps a piece of vacant ground you can build your dream home on….
