30 Oct Happy Halloween 2023

Happy Halloween tomorrow!!  It’s now OFFICIALLY the holiday season!  I love this time of year with Halloween kicking off the season and then rolling right into Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Tomorrow there are several options for trick-or-treaters up and down the Western Slope.  Montrose is having their Main Street Trick-Or-Treat and so is Delta.  Note – Main Street in Delta will be CLOSED but Main Street in Montrose will NOT be closed.  There’s “Trunk” or Treating a few places including Victory Crossroads in Montrose as well as Main Street in Olathe.  You can check my Facebook and Instagram pages to see some more fun events.

One thing that is pretty cool is several local bands and musicians are doing a Concert of Hope for the Kraai family in Delta.  It will be held at the Egyptian Theater on Main Street in Delta as a fundraiser for the family who lost their home and business when the Delta Dry Cleaners burned to the ground.  Terrible tragedy for the family and a sad loss of a historic landmark building in Delta.  So if you’re not interested in the “Halloween thing” – here’s a great option for you.  The link includes some details for you to attend or donate.

Then November begins on Wednesday – WOWZA.  What a quick 2023 we have had.  November is National Gratitude Month.  How do you celebrate?  I am going to think of at least one thing every day that I’m grateful for.  Or one person – and tell them why I’m grateful for them.
