01 Jul Happy July and 2nd Half of ‘24

The first half of 2024 is gone just like that – POOF!!  This week will be a lot of fun with the 4^th of July holiday this Thursday and all the great celebrations all weekend long.  I have a another property that closes first thing on Wednesday morning and then my husband and I are heading to our cabin in Arrowhead to enjoy the holiday weekend up there.  Don’t worry, though, I will still be working on an off so you can get in touch.  My assistant will be in town for the weekend, so between the two of us, we can make sure you are taken care of if you want to see property or have questions.

In getting some information from one of the local lenders, rates were relatively unchanged last week and new mortgage apps were up almost 1% from the previous week.  Here’s what Money has to say for rates in this coming week.  Give me a call if you’d like to chat about what’s going on and see what some options are that you might have.

If you are here on the Western Slope, this weekend offers a ton of great fun for the whole family.  Make sure you check my Facebook or Instagram pages to see some of the things going on.  The Western Balloon Fest will be in Delta over the weekend and Ouray will have their annual 4^th of July parade and party complete with the water fight.  Montrose has a weekend long celebration planned too.  Plus there are fireworks scheduled up and down the Western Slope.  With all the rain we have had over the last week or so, I don’t expect any of the fireworks to get cancelled this year.
