17 Jan Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Several places including the post office, banks and schools are closed today in honor of the holiday.  Martin Luther King Jr. was an icon and leader of the civil rights movement.  We honor him and what he stands for today.

Our weather here in Western Colorado is beautiful right now.  We had a couple of weeks of gray/snowy weather, but now it’s bright sunshine.  The highs are only in the 40’s but it is sunny.  That’s why we love living in the “banana belt” of Colorado!!
