29 Apr Happy May Day on Wednesday!

Thanks for joining me here on my weekly blog! I am so excited as we are starting May on Wednesday and the weather here on the Western Slope is spring in full force. There are the occasional spring showers which have brought the flowers and bushes in full bloom and the fields have already been planted and are starting to green up with growing crops. Last week I promised to post some of the flowering bushes and trees and the photos above do not disappoint. They all smell amazing with the scent wafting through the air. If you haven’t spent springtime here on the Western Slope, I recommend a visit if you can.
According to Money, “Mortgage rates continued to climb this week, staying above 7% for the second week on a row.” Home and property prices are not going down either. Of course I do see some price reductions on properties every week but that is more often than not due to the fact that the property was priced too high to start with. I recommend pricing your property for sale at a fair market price in order for it to sell in a reasonable time frame. Let me prepare a free comparative market analysis for your property and we can develop a plan to sell at the highest possible price in the quickest time possible. Contact me today.
This week there are lots of great events and things to do. The Cinco de Mayo celebrations start on Friday with a big fiesta in Delta and continue through Sunday in Montrose. Lots of fun for the entire family. Make sure you follow me on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates. Have a great week!
