There’s still plenty to do around here even though we are now seeing winter hit us full on.  It has snowed quite a bit around the Western Slope and our temps are forecast to be at freezing or below for the next few days.  We might get up into the 40’s by Friday but … we never know!  The good news is that we have sunny skies and very slight chance of snow this week.

Coming in Ridgway this weekend is an annual event that is lots of fun and everyone enjoys:  San Juan Skijoring.  Combining horse riding and skiing – it’s great fun for all!  Find all the info here at their site.

There are Saturday matinees going on at the Delta Egyptian Theater starting in January for those who prefer INDOOR entertainment.  The Wright Opera House in Ouray has weekly movie nights and other live entertainment going on too.  Ridgway has the Sherbino Theater hosting regular entertainers and Cedaredge has the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center offering live music as well.  Make sure you’re following our Facebook page for regular updates.
