18 Mar Happy Spring 2024!

The official first day of Spring is tomorrow, March 19^th.  Western Colorado is warming up and having sunny skies – most days.  We were fortunate to have the most recent spring snow storm miss us and we just got a skiff or in some spots, rain.  We definitely need the moisture but we can live without the snow.  The front range and mountains got dumped on.  Nederland reported 4 feet of snow with Central City not far behind.  We dodged the “snow” bullet this time!

I hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day yesterday.  I was going to make corned beef and cabbage but I ended up showing property instead.  SO, I will make it today – it will still be great!

I love this time of year.  The trees haven’t quite started to bud out but there are some tulips and daffodils that are popping up already.  The farmers have started to get the fields ready to plant.  It’s just a great time of rebirth here on the Western Slope.  It is a wonderful place to call home.
