13 Mar Happy Sunny Mid-March!

Don’t worry, Snoopy – one week from today is the first day of spring!   At least it’s sunny today.  For the moment.  It’s almost 50 degrees.  We are sensing spring is on the way!  The weather forecast does say mixed rain and snow for most of this week, though – so yes, it is springtime in the Rockies.  The mountains surrounding us here are all very blanketed with snow so we can see the white peaks.  It’s pretty to enjoy the view of blue mountains topped with white peaks.  We are seeing farmers starting to prep their fields for planting too.  All very good signs that spring is awful close.  How’s the weather where you are?  If you’re not in Western Colorado and you are thinking of making a move, now is a great time!

We just saw a slight drop in mortgage interest rates today and it has already helped a couple of my buyers be able to afford a little bit more house than they could on Friday.  That is great news!  Great news not only for buyers, but sellers too – their property might sell for a higher price.  I would really love to help you with whatever you are looking to do in real estate here on the Western Slope.  I work with buyers AND sellers regularly so please get in touch.   Even if you’re not looking at buying or selling property right now, I would be happy to discuss the current state of the market with you.  There’s lots going on and I keep on top of things.
