27 Oct Happy Western Colorado Halloween!

Well yesterday morning we woke up here in Western Colorado and Mother Nature had turned off the Indian Summer and turned on Winter… FULL BLAST!  Depending on where you were on the Western Slope, we received 5 -10 inches of snow with single digit temperatures for a lot of the day.  About 5pm at our office, the temp reached a balmy 20 degrees F.  BRRR!  But the forecast shows sunny skies through the rest of this week with temperatures rising into the 50’s and 60’s.  Typical Western Colorado!  If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change.

On the bright side, the nice weather will be great for this Halloween weekend! There are several activities and events going on both Friday and Saturday all up and down the Western Slope.  Delta and Cedaredge have trick-or-treating in town on Friday afternoon and Montrose has a few different things for kids and adults alike on Saturday.  Ridgway State Park is observing the Halloween Blue/Hunters Moon Saturday evening.  Visit my Facebook Page to see details on the fun things going on this weekend!
