🌸 Spring has officially arrived on the Western Slope, and the real estate market is waking up! I’ve closed three sales this month, and more buyers and sellers are making moves. If you’ve been waiting for the right time—this could be it! 🏡✨
Mortgage rates are holding fairly steady, with 30-year fixed rates around 7% and 15-year rates near 6.25%. While they’re higher than the rock-bottom rates of a few years ago, buyers are still locking in deals, and sellers are seeing solid offers.
The local market remains strong, with home prices continuing to rise. Montrose’s median home value has climbed over 4% this year, and homes are selling in about 56 days. That’s a great sign of steady demand!
As for the weather—expect a mix of sunny, warm days and a few spring showers. And some of those showers CAN still include snow, especially in the mountains. But it doesn’t stick for long so now is the perfect time for house hunting or getting outside for all the fun local events! 🌞🌷
