If you’re looking to buy a home here on the Western Slope, don’t give up hope.  You may be looking at the interest rates creep up along with the prices and think “No way – I can’t afford to buy!”  But hang in there.  Here’s a great article from Lynn with Geneva Financial about why you should persevere and try to buy your home now.

We are seeing great signs of spring in Western Colorado.  There’s grass (and weeds, unfortunately) that are greening up all around and if you look really close, the trees are just starting to bud out.  The forsythia bush just outside my window has pretty yellow flowers and the sunshine yesterday made for just about a perfect, Colorado spring day.  Along with spring comes more property on the market (we call it inventory) and that gives you more options if you’re looking to buy.
