18 Mar It’s Gonna Be OK!

Well in light of things, Western Colorado is weathering this Coronavirus situation fine.  A lot of businesses are closed –either completely or just to the public.  But we haven’t seen the fighting or meanness that some areas are experiencing.  As far as the real estate market, we are encouraged by this article which shows why this is completely different from the “crash” that happened here in 2008.

Although, we here on the Western Slope don’t see the extreme highs and lows as Denver and other areas on the Front Range do. So, while we did experience a down turn here, it wasn’t quite as drastic as it was in a lot of the rest of the country.

We are still getting inquiries from buyers every day.  In fact we just showed property yesterday to a buyer who is looking to purchase a home very soon.  So while the media is painting a grim picture, we say don’t panic and keep your head up.  And please contact us if you have any real estate questions!!
