It’s Gratitude Month

Happy Monday!  It’s just a couple weeks till Thanksgiving.  Are you being thankful for something every day?  November is the National Month of Gratitude.  I am grateful for soooo many things!  (Even though I might whine every once in a while – I am human, after all!)  What are your plans for Thanksgiving Day?  Are you cooking for a crowd?  Or maybe taking advantage of the Montrose Community Dinner at Friendship Hall this year….  You can click here for all the details.  They have opportunities to donate, volunteer or even get a homemade Thanksgiving dinner delivered.  So if you know of someone who can’t get out, maybe that would be a nice option for them.

I’ll be cooking for a crowd.  My family will all converge at our house on the big day.  I am expecting about 8-10 depending on who shows up.  I have it down to a science at this point!  Plus I have others help and bring side dishes.  It’s always a nice day with family.

The mortgage rates went up and then came back down last week.  We will wait and see what happens this week.  Make sure you contact me to get a list of local lenders here on the Western Slope.  They can get you pre-qualified so that we know just exactly how much you can pay for a property.

We have had that one snow storm which dumped a lot in the mountains but not too much here in the valley.  It’s been mostly clear since then.  Temps are cooler but that’s to be expected.  Hope you stay safe and warm – have a great week!
