24 Jun June has sailed by!

With the year half over and today marking 6 months till Christmas Eve (can you believe it???), I want to wish you a wonderful week ahead. The real estate market is slow, but steady. We are seeing some new inventory of property for sale, but not as much as in the past few years. I am hearing that home owners realize they can get a good price on their home, but they can’t really afford to replace it if they plan to stay here in Colorado. We are seeing that trend across the country. Prices are up and it doesn’t really look like they will be going down. If you have some questions about your property and what you want to do, make sure to give me a call – I am happy to discuss your options with you.
Are you getting out and enjoying all the great things we have here in Western Colorado during the summer? If you are an outdoor activity lover, it’s just minutes in pretty much any direction to amazing hiking, horseback riding, ATV-ing, camping, fishing and more! There’s Grand Mesa with over 300 lakes (don’t forget the mosquito repellent!), the Uncompahgre Plateau with hiking, camping, 4-wheel drive trails, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Box Canyon Falls, the San Juan and Cimarron mountain ranges, The Monument, and so many more! Leave me a comment with anything that you love doing here.
With next week being 4th of July, there are TONS of things going on from Grand Junction down to Ouray. So far, we are expecting all of the planned fireworks displays to go on as scheduled. Some of the highlights are the Delta Western Sky Balloon Festival, Montrose 4th of July Festival, Ouray Parade and water fights, and Silverton is celebrating the town’s 150th anniversary this year on the 4th. These will all be great fun for the family! So have a great week and enjoy the rest of the summer!
