03 Jun June = Summertime!

Happy June and hello summer!  It still has not gotten really hot here on the Western Slope yet this year.  It does seem to be getting warmer and yesterday did have temps in the high 70’s – even 80 in Delta/Grand Junction.  HOWEVER, this week’s forecast says the weather and mild temps are all going to change this week.  In fact, the Grand Junction news is saying that triple digits are coming up by the end of the week in some areas.  So make sure you’re ready with plenty of water, sunscreen and all the other precautions you need to take for you, your family and don’t forget the fur babies, too.

The summer fun has started and will keep going all season long.  This Saturday in Delta, the Egyptian Theater hosts the “Boys of Summer” a tribute to the Eagles.  The free concerts are starting in Cedaredge this Friday and will continue through the summer.  There will be free admission and live music on Thursdays at the Montrose Truck Stop.  Keep following my Facebook and Instagram pages to see some of the upcoming fun.  Make sure to let me know if you have something you would like me to share there for you.
