22 Jul Montrose County Fair Week!

Happy Monday and I wish you a wonderful week!  This morning here in Western Colorado, it is a beautiful sunny summer day with not one cloud in the sky.  The forecast is saying that it will get into the high 80’s and low 90’s this week with winds coming up in the afternoon.  Pretty standard July weather for the Western Slope.

We have seen a slight uptick in activity for real estate in the last couple of weeks.  I have had several folks coming into town who are planning to buy a home or property here.  According to Money.com, “The 30-year mortgage rate dropped to its lowest level since mid-March, providing some much-needed relief for rate-weary homebuyers.”  If you are thinking of buying a home, let me know so I can send you a list of professional, local lenders.  There are lenders that we know who can do home loans, new construction loans, vacant land loans and even mobile home loans.  It is always best to use a local lending company that is familiar with our area and the unique features of properties here on the Western Slope.

We only have two weeks left in July and then August brings back to school.  It seems like school is starting earlier and earlier.  Delta County schools start August 12^th and Montrose County schools start August 13^th.  Remember to watch out for crosswalks and school zones!
