Never Forget – 22 years ago today

Where were you on this day 22 years ago?  Most of us know exactly where we were and how/when we found out about the attacks.  Today, I am taking a moment to remember all who were lost on this day in 2001. Thoughts and prayers for their families as well as the first responders.  It’s a good day to be thankful for your family and friends that are blessings in your life.

It’s been a nice sunny September for the most part – so far – and we are enjoying the warm temperatures during the day.  We can see and feel fall coming, though.  In fact Color Weekend (which used to be Color Sunday) is coming up for Grand Mesa on September 24thPowderhorn Mountain Resort is hosting great activities for the weekend.  Check out the schedule on my Facebook and Instagram pages.  But don’t fret, you can see the amazing fall foliage all over the state so take a drive towards the mountains and enjoy the beautiful colors and changing leaves.  You can also click here for the predictions from “Mr. Aspen” as to when he expects the colors to peak.

Mortgage rates are staying on the high side hovering in the mid to high 7% ranges.  Make sure you contact me to get a recommendation for a local lender who can help get you pre-qualified.  There are lenders here that can not only loan for homes but also vacant land and commercial properties.  It’s important to work with someone who is familiar with the market here in Western Colorado.

I wish you and yours a very happy and safe week to come!
