18 Aug School, Produce and Fires OH MY!

📚✏️ School is back in session across the Western Slope! Kids are packing backpacks, teachers are sharpening pencils, and the air is buzzing with that back-to-school energy. (Watch out for school zones!!)
💰🏡 Mortgage update: 30-year fixed rates are hanging around 6.6%—the lowest they’ve been this year! 🎉 While we’re not seeing the under-6% rates of the past, this dip makes homebuying dreams a little more reachable. If you’ve been on the fence, now might be your moment!
🌽🍑🥒 Harvest time is here! Farmers Markets are overflowing with fresh goodness—sweet corn, juicy peaches, heirloom tomatoes, and crisp cucumbers. It’s the best season to grab a basket and support local growers while filling your table with farm-fresh flavors.
🔥🙏 Unfortunately, fire season is still raging. The Lee Fire near Meeker has burned over 133,800 acres and is only about 31% contained, adding to more than 185,000 acres already scorched across Western Colorado. Governor Polis has declared a disaster emergency, and our communities are rallying together. Please keep praying for rain 🌧️—our mountains and firefighters need it.
☀️🎶 But summer fun isn’t over yet! There’s still sunshine, events, and good times happening—check my Facebook & Instagram pages for ideas to soak it all up.
📈🏠 And in the real estate world? The market is buzzing right along—I just went Under Contract on another one! 🥳 Get in touch with your questions – I would love to help YOU with your real estate needs!!
