September Brings Sweater Weather

Actually the end of August has been pretty chilly overall.  We have had much needed rain but there are some properties that the rain is making it difficult to access.  I have a new listing out south of Montrose but with the rain making the access road MUD, it is difficult to get to and show.  I am just using my big 4WD truck and getting through it!  Yesterday evening/night was a big thunderstorm that gave us a bunch of wind and some downed tree limbs and even a couple of power poles in South Montrose.  We usually experience monsoon season in August but this one has been especially strong this year.

Well all the kids in public schools are back in session.  Don’t forget to observe school zones as well as keep an eye out for children playing or crossing the street.

Have you started seeing the Halloween decorations in the stores as well as pumpkin spice available everywhere again?  It is coming so fast!  In the mountains we are already starting to see the leaves turn – just a tad – but it’s starting.  Fall is almost here whether we are ready or not.

The real estate market has seen a slight surge of activity in the past week or so.  I have two new listings coming up so check them out on my Featured Listings page.  I would love to help you with your property needs!  Get in touch with me and let’s chat about your options.

I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend coming up end of this week.  The unofficial end to summer is here.  I hope you get to enjoy a nice, long, holiday weekend!
