Summer Begins in Western Colorado

It’s the last full week in May and we are ready for summer!  But as it always is for spring time in Western Colorado, we had a good spring snow storm last week that closed Molas, Coalbank and Red Mountain passes for a bit one day last week.  This week is starting off sunny, clear and in the high 60’s to low 70’s.  We are gearing up for a great Memorial Day weekend and lots of great things to come this summer!

This Wednesday morning, enjoy the majesty and beauty of the Black Canyon just outside of Montrose with a guided Wildflower Walk & Talk.

The Sherbino Theater in Ridgway has started their live music in the Courtyard again and on Wednesday you can enjoy “Jazz with Yaz” for Wine Wednesday.  A great mid-week break!

Ridgway Farmers’ Market starts on Friday for the summer right downtown with lots to see, enjoy and buy!

Of course the Montrose Farmers’ Market is downtown on Saturday as usual.

A classic car and motorcycle show starts the weekend off at the Grand Junction Harley Davidson.
