Summer Fun to Come!

Here we are almost mid-July and summer is heating up.  We are expecting 80’s and 90’s for temps from Grand Junction to Montrose.  But if you want to cool off, head to Ridgway and Ouray.  They are seeing some clouds and rain with temperatures only in the low to mid 70’s.  That’s the great thing about the Western Slope – you can usually get out of the extreme temperatures and weather by driving a half hour to an hour in one direction or the other.

It’s getting to be the time of year for fairs all up and down Western Colorado.  It’s a great time to get out and support the local community and 4-H kids who have worked hard on their projects.  You also get to enjoy parades and rodeos and all kinds of family fun.  Make sure you’re following my Facebook and Instagram pages.  Let me know if you have an event you’d like me to highlight for you.

In addition to the county fairs, there’s Deltarado Days coming up in Delta which celebrates the farmers and farming community.  Don’t forget the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival where you can fill up on all the Olathe Sweet you can handle.

I just love summer on the Western Slope!  It’s also the height of the busy summer real estate market.  I have several listings under contract and I’m working with several buyers as well.  Make sure to contact me if you’re looking to buy or sell this summer.  I would love to help!

Have a great week and enjoy the summer fun!!!
