26 May Summer Has Started (Unofficially)

Happy unofficial start to summer! I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend spent with family, friends, BBQs, and remembering those who gave so much for our freedoms.

The summer real estate season is definitely heating up across the Western Slope! I’m seeing more buyers actively looking, more showings being scheduled, and plenty of interest in both homes and land right now. If you’ve been thinking about buying or selling, this is a great time to start the conversation.

One important reminder this week: I currently have a property under contract that has had delays because the buyer did not work with a strong local lender from the beginning. Local lenders truly understand our market, timelines, and communication needs – and that can make a HUGE difference in getting transactions closed smoothly and on time.
