27 May Summer is Here
It’s official – summer is here on the Western Slope and we are ready! We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. It was great here in Western Colorado – sunny skies and warm temps but a bit windy.
While many events scheduled for this summer have been cancelled due to the corona virus, there are still things you can do. Especially here in the summer time!
Most trails and camp grounds are open. One of the things we love about this area is the outdoor activities we can enjoy all year round. If you’re wanting to know what trails are open, download the free app “COTREX” from Colorado Parks & Wildlife.
The Farmer’s Markets are going strong all summer. You can find them all highlighted from time to time on my Facebook page.
The drive in theaters in both Montrose and Delta are open every night.
And NOW, pretty much all of the restaurants are open for dine-in seating with some limitations. Most are open at only 50% capacity with social distancing being enforced but hey – it’s still great to be able to go OUT to dinner again! You just never know what you take for granted until you lose it.
We are seeing quite a bit of activity in real estate still. In fact it is picking up for us here. We got another new listing last week with another coming this week and we have been showing property a lot with buyers. There are also buyers looking at our listings regularly too.
