08 Jul Summer is in full swing!

I hope you had a really good 4^th of July holiday weekend.  Did you get some time to relax?  I enjoyed the weekend with my husband at our cabin up in Arrowhead.  It was nice up there and much cooler than down here in the valley.

I didn’t see it in person, but I saw a lot of photos of the 4^th of July Western Sky Balloon Fest in Delta.  There were some really fun balloons – I especially got a kick out of the “Elvis” balloon.  But the photos were really just beautiful.  There were lots of other things going on this past weekend too.  Did you get out and enjoy any of those?

There are several more free concerts and other great things going on here in Western Colorado too!  Make sure you check out my Facebook an Instagram pages for updates.  Tomorrow the Ute Indian Museum is offering a free guided tour and will be doing it several more times throughout the summer.  Thursday Ridgway has their free music in the park continuing and Friday is the free concert at Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center in Cedaredge.  Let me know if you have anything going on that you’d like me to highlight on my social media pages.

As far as mortgage rate news, Money says, “Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s chief economist, still expects rates to ease later in the year. In a press release, Khater said the combination of lower rates and added inventory should slow down home price growth, which bodes well for prospective homebuyers.”  Give me a call if you have questions and want to chat about your options.
