Summer Prices Are Stable

It is mid July and we are hot here on the Western Slope.  Montrose is seeing temps getting up into the high 80’s and low 90’s every afternoonDelta and Grand Junction are having high 90’s and even the occasional temp over 100F in the afternoons.  So if you have to spend any time outside during the heat of the day, make sure you stay hydrated and follow the summer safety tips to beat the heat.

I just did a check since we are at July 15th this year for how prices are doing.  From July 1st to the 15th this year, Montrose County MLS database shows a total of 24 homes sold in those two weeks with an average price of $420,000+/-.  For the same time frame in 2023, the total number of home sold was 37, but the average price was $419,000+/-.  What this tells me is that the amount of homes being sold has gone down slightly but the prices are not going down.  So if you are hoping to buy property, get in touch with me and let’s discuss your options.  Even though the market pace has slowed, the prices aren’t going down any time soon.  Let’s see if we can find you something that works for you and your budget!

There are plenty of fun activities going on all around the Western Slope too!  Check out my Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.  Deltarado Days starts this Thursday and goes through Saturday evening with the parade and free concerts on SaturdayLet me know if you have something you would like me to share for you!

Have a great week and stay cool out there!
