22 Jan The Real Estate Market in 2020??
So I get questions all the time about “how is the real estate market?” Well that’s a complicated question, but I think overall, the market is still good. Click here for the 2019 housing stats for Montrose County
Several of the statistics are up from 2018. Some are slightly lower. Overall, the market seems pretty even keel and we are expecting 2020 to be on the rise again.
The National Association of REALTORS® economist, Lawrence Yun, said “The national median sale price of an existing home is expected to grow to $270,400, an increase of 4.3 percent from 2019.” If you check out the Montrose County sales stats, we are already at a Median Price of $270,000.
While the Western Slope doesn’t have the extreme ups and downs like a lot of the country, we are hopeful that we will have a slight increase too.
