Well this weekend, several spots got some snow. The mountains have already had snow and the peaks around (especially to the south) are already snow capped. The cooler weather reminds us that it is certainly fall and winter is just around the corner. So it’s a great time to make sure you winterize your home – inside and out. Make sure you have your sprinkler system blown out of all the water so that the pipes don’t freeze and break. If they do, it will be a costly repair in the spring and likely they will have to dig up the pipes to replace them. Your swamp cooler needs to be winterized as well. Here’s a great list of items to check and/or do.
