It’s full on fall and hunting season is in full swing. We see a lot of hunters here on the Western Slope. Just last weekend, my husband and I went out for our antelope permit.  SUCCESS!  It’s just so peaceful and enjoyable being out in the crisp fall air at one with nature.  We love it and we go hunting every year. Colorado hunting is about quiet spaces. Our public lands include 23 million acres of pristine pines, plentiful pocket meadows and pure-water ponds, so it’s no wonder we host the world’s largest elk herd and the best chance at hunting, or simply viewing, these majestic animals in motion.  Here’s to wishing all of you a successful and SAFE hunt. Wear your orange and be careful out there!! And of course, enjoy beautiful Western Colorado.
