17 Feb Winter Warning…? 🤷♀️😂

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s weekend! ❤️ Whether you celebrated with someone special, friends, or just enjoyed our beautiful Western Slope sunshine, it was a great reminder of why we love living here.
The real estate market is definitely heating up along with the (almost) spring vibes! I just launched a gorgeous new listing in Ouray County featuring incredible mountain and valley views — the kind that truly never get old. Activity has been strong across the board, and buyers are out in full force. In fact, I’m currently working with clients who relocated from Denver, and we toured 12 homes in just two days! That kind of momentum is a great sign for both buyers and sellers as we head toward the spring market.
Mortgage rates are currently hovering in the mid-6% range, with some variation depending on loan type and credit profile. While rates aren’t at historic lows, buyers are adjusting and finding opportunities — and many experts still anticipate gradual improvement later this year.
We were all watching that big winter storm forecast 👀 but so far Delta and Montrose have mostly dodged the impact. (No complaints there!) Of course, winter isn’t over yet, so we’ll see what Mother Nature has planned.
As always, be sure to follow my Facebook and Instagram pages for local updates, market news, and fun things happening around the area. If you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just curious what your home might be worth, I’m always happy to help. 🏡✨
