We Are Starting to Open Colorado

We Are Starting to Open Colorado

While we are still under the “safer at home” order for most of the state, we are starting to see things open up gradually.  The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department is being allowed to open state recreational parks for camping starting this week.  Some opened May 12th and will continue opening through May 15thThere are rules in place for social distancing, trash removal and more.

Apparently there are still some reservations available at the open campgrounds/parks for Memorial Day, but they are not expected to last for long.  You can find the interactive map of parks here.

Most of the Western Slope has partially opened in various ways.  Most salons/barbers are open with masks. Some retail is open with masks.  Essential businesses are still open as they have been.  In Grand Junction, restaurants have been allowed to open, but you must social distance as with everywhere else, and all restaurants are operating at 50% capacity but still! So we are cautiously optimistic that things will continue to improve here in Colorado and we can return to something close to normal.

The real estate market continues to work and be active.  We have just put one of our listings under contract to be sold and a new listing is coming up for sale this Friday.  Contact us with any real estate questions today!!
