Western Slope Weather and More

We here on the Western Slope (especially in the more southern areas and mountains) are expecting a big snow storm for the next few days.  There are winter storm warnings out for several of the mountain towns and higher elevations.  So far, in the Montrose/Delta area, we are seeing lots of clouds and some light rain and current temp is about 40F.

We here in Western Colorado are resilient so don’t think we will batten down the hatches and hibernate!  It is business as usual and we are looking forward to the fun events coming this week here in our area.

The Delta Chamber of Commerce is hosting the monthly business after hours on the 21st and it should be a great one right before Thanksgiving.  And while you’re there, you can check out the beautiful Holiday Trees that are being auctioned off.

This Saturday in Ridgway, great chance to start the holiday shopping early at the Ouray County Holiday Bazaar!

If you prefer Montrose, there’s the Native American Film Fest on Saturday.

So come out and enjoy Western Colorado and all it has to offer!!
