08 Sep Crazy Colorado Weather
Well Labor Day weekend was hot and beautiful – perfect for the family BBQ’s that inevitably happen here on the Western Slope. But the temperatures dropped from the 90’s to the 40’s overnight (literally) and we are expecting some significant rain and/or snow here in Colorado. A cold winter storm is blowing in from the north and the mountains will see anywhere from 8-12 inches of snow here in the first part of September! We here in the valley will see rain – possible snow in the early morning hours but we will all notice the cold temps for the next few days. We hope this will help put out the fires burning around the state. And as is Colorado’s standard, by the end of the week and weekend, we expect sunshine and beautiful blue skies again. You just gotta love Colorado and the diversity of weather. The cold snap will help start the fall colors on their way to beautiful oranges, reds and yellows. Keep an eye out here and on my Facebook page for the date of Color Sunday. This is the day that the colors are at the peak and we all take a drive in the mountains to enjoy the beauty.
We are still busy with real estate buyers and sellers. We have taken three new listings in the past week or so, closed four properties sold in the past couple of weeks and we now have ten different properties under contract to be sold. Let us help YOU with your real estate needs whether you are buying or selling. Contact us today for a free consultation.
Wishing you all a great week ahead and hope that you stay safe and well!!
